This letter is in appreciation for the great job that you have done for us. What our dealership was lacking, was structure. Even though our management staff is very strong, many deals were slipping through the cracks. By installing a Save-A-Deal meeting into our every morning agenda, we have added at least 2 to 3 deals per week. We now know as a management team, what we have working, ready for delivery, and what we need to discuss with our sales staff. We use these meetings each and every day and each and every manager has a game plan for that day. We have also changed the way we do one-on-ones. Although we did one-on-ones in the past, we really didn't put enough pressure on the sales staff to perform to the optimum. We now help set standards of performance and hold each sales person accountable for all. By giving the sales staff parameters and then holding them accountable, we have seen some changes in attitudes as well as work habits. We totally expect our numbers to continue to climb. On a personal note, I have a better idea as to how I should delegate the menial tasks and spend more time doing what is important...closing deals and training our sales staff.
